Aldo Filiberto

Aldo is a professional photographer and film director. He graduated in 2006 from the University of Wales, College of Newport, with a First Class BA Degree in Documentary Photography. Thereafter Aldo moved back to Italy where he opened his own studio, shooting fashion and portrait assignments for various editorial and commercial clients. In 2009 following his natural impulse to travel he moved to Los Angeles where he obtained his Master of Fine Arts in Filmmaking. While in Los Angeles Aldo kept shooting editorial assignments as a freelance and  also directed numerous independent short films before completing in 2013 his feature length directorial debut, ‘The Fortune Theory’.  In 2013 Aldo moved back to London where he currently resides and shoots. The core of Aldo’s photography is people. He specializes in editorial, commercial portraiture and fashion.www.aldofiliberto.com

Debbie Jolliff

Debbie was born in Britain and has been a professional photographer since 2006. She studied Media Production and then onto achieve a Bachelor of Arts degree in Wildlife Photography. Debbie was awarded the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society’s Gold Medal for her floral Fine Art exhibit titled ‘The genus Galanthus’ and was a semi-finalist in the ‘Wild Places’ category of the BP Wildlife Photographer of the Year. Working in a broad range of photographic environments, from landscapes in the great outdoors to reptiles in the studio, portraits underwater to the unfolding events at weddings, she feels blessed to have met so many photographers willing to share and discuss what they are so passionate about and is keen to do the same for others. Debbie is interested in the approach that individuals take to create their imagery, being in that moment and the interaction of self and subject.

Luciana Franzolin

Luciana has been part of the LSP team since 2007. Born in Brazil, she started her career in photography as a darkroom technician in 1996.
Finishing a Journalism BA in 2000 and Photography Post Graduation in 2001, she has worked for newspapers and as a freelance photographer moving to London in 2003.
Very passionate about life, people and communication, she has worked in a wide range of environments and assignments and completed her MA in Photojournalism at the University of Westminster, London, in 2009.
her final project was a photo documentary called Senses, abou deaf-blind people living in the UK.
Luciana’s interests include street, documentary photography and portraiture.

Antonio Leanza

Antonio has been an active photographer for more than three decades. An artist, coach and teacher, he has developed a unique educational philosophy centered on the Creative Process and the Transformational Learning Experience.

He taught Photography and Digital Imaging at The School of Media of LCC (The University of The Arts London) for more than ten years and for Ilford Film throughout England. Antonio has trained and coached people from all over the world to the highly professional standards of National Geographic and he is currently developing new educational projects on Photography and Creative Development.

Giovanni Barsanti

Giovanni has a genuine passion for photography, styling and creativity as well as concept creation for fashion and still life photography.

Since he moved to London, he started to work as the backstage photographer for the AOFM, (Academy of Freelance Makeup Artists) and for other major agencies as First Photographer.
Gio (That’s how we like to call him) has been part of the LSP Team for more than eight years, covering positions like Studio Manager and Trainer for all our courses & workshops. From 2016 to 2018 he has covered the position of Director of Training.

Kit Ryall

Kit has worked in the picture industry since 2007 and completed her Masters in Photojournalism in 2009. She is passionate about practical photography and photographic theory, as well as learning and education. With a keen interest in the power of photography to communicate, inform and evoke the viewer she spends much of her spare time working on documentary photography projects. Her most recent project features a young kidney transplant patient and the year-long ordeal of waiting, having and recovering from such a process. Within this field she has a particular interest in the role of the documentary photographer and exploring new and interesting ways to tell stories. In the past she assisted award-winning artist duo Broomberg and Chanarin, where she worked on numerous commercial photography and art projects including the Krakow Photomonth Festival 2011. Kit has worked with many clients over the years such as Save the Children, the Imperial War Museum and the BBC Proms, and has a sound knowledge of the professional photography industry. She is eager to share her knowledge and passion for photography with us at LSP.

Andrea Verganti

Andrea completed his Masters in Photojournalism in 2009 and has since been working for NGOs in the UK and abroad taking pictures for their portfolio and editing their visual material. Additionally, he has been working on assignments and commissions for local institutions and the public sector.

Andrea has gathered experience facilitating workshops and classes while working on a wide range of themes for different organizations, which has led him to develop effective training methods and to value the precious contribution the students can bring to each session.

His interest lies in a humanistic approach to photography, he enjoys working on collaborative projects exploring social aspects and promoting social change. He is curious to investigate the possibilities offered by experimenting with different media using photographs as a platform to further discussion.
